what a day

Not quite sun rise this blast of sea and sky,

with people rousing from their beds.

Such light –

such blue and grey and white.

Slow start and pace of footsteps in the shingle,

washed by gentle ripples.

A strip of light at anchor touches France

so close at hand.

That was beautiful and peaceful. Love and hugs to you. Paula xxx

  5. Stunning. It conjures up for me images from our special place near Eastbourne, where England almost joins the continent. So close and yet so far.

  6. I needed this escape Escondido !
