a January morning

of glorious blue skies I simply had to catch.

I hadn’t taken any pictures since before the holidays and I was itching to.

Lo and behold – all this beauty in the depths of winter and all a short walk from home.

….ahh…now that feels better.

What simpler manifestation of living in the moment, than a walk with my camera to blow away winter cobwebs.

I sense your pleasure Andrea …
The week started well 🙂 and why wouldn’t it … taking a stroll like this early on a monday morning …

  8. Yes it surely does! Sighhhhhh!

  9. Two Parakeets in the tree really seemed to capture the scene. Stunning as always Andrea.

  10. Afternoon Andrea! 🙂
Brilliant shots. Hope all is well in your world! Hugs from Oz, Paula xxx

  11. What magical shots you caught, parrots and fountains and ancient brickwork, all glowing in the light. A day like this is such a gift after so much grey rain. It has the same effect on me, pulling me into the moment and out of my melancholy inward thoughts 🙂

    • its amazing the power of nature and even ancient brickwork to sooth the soul. . . today is harder to be dragged away from the grey clouds inside but I have stayed home and at least I am writing some : )
I did the rsbp garden birdwatch but I cant log on with my results !
